Most people work from 9 to 5, and as soon as they get their paychecks, they spend them on Instagram-worthy experiences! However, behind this is a lot of struggle and stress of spinning around. A lot has changed in the past few years, and now, people prefer to live a soft life whereby they can enjoy living in the moment.

Diverting To A New Path

Before going on any path, you should first have a conversation with yourself about how you want to live your life. Post-pandemic people now realize the importance of family and friends in their lives. Instead of thinking about how to maximize, people are now concerned about the minimal amount needed to live a sustainable life. Many Americans used the pandemic as an excuse to change their lives. The shock of the pandemic allowed many people to stop and realize that there may be more to life than just working a 9-to-5 job. Living a soft life doesn’t mean you quit your job, but it means not considering it your whole world.

Soft life means different things to different people. The pandemic ended with the people’s incline toward it. Most Americans were already looking for ways to return to life and for a change. Producer Courtney Daniela Boateng says that he feels like he has stepped into an era of living a soft life. He further added that he has tried to invest in slowing down and detaching himself from the stress and conflict that lingers around. Soft life is reflected in many different ways by different creators.

Soft life is depicted differently by different creators. It’s portrayed online as a lifestyle with true levels of enjoyment and luxury. Boateng says that to live a soft life, reality needs to be exposed to everyone. The reality is that you still need to work to earn money as life is not a bed of roses.

Many people who have already resorted to soft living have started to work towards their goals but aim for a minimal life. A minimal life where friends and family matter more than money. Where the best use of time is not just to work on your job but to spend quality time with your friends and family.

Friends and family ask people who have resorted to this form of living how they live their life. The reply is often a $10 in $20 out approach for most people. People work on their 9 to 5 jobs to get funds for what they love. This has given rise to more and more freelancing jobs where people get a chance to do what they love.

After realizing the true meaning of life and investing time in doing what they love, individuals say they have no regrets. People have been in worse places, so they are now enjoying the soft life. There are still limitations to living this life, but people are still happy with the change.
