Harry Melling is perhaps best recognized for his role as Dudley Dursley, the spoiled cousin of the titular character in the “Harry Potter” series. However, Harry has undergone a remarkable physical transformation since his last appearance in the magical franchise, shedding the image of the stout antagonist to reveal a more slender and versatile actor.
Post-“Harry Potter,” he has carved out a distinguished path in both theatre and film. Notably, he appeared in the Coen Brothers’ anthology film “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs,” where he delivered a compelling performance as an armless, legless thespian. He was also seen in the acclaimed Netflix hit “The Queen’s Gambit” (2020), playing Harry Beltik.
